With the long-awaited new concert hall in Liepaja scheduled for completion end-October 2015, a significant stage of construction has been reached - setting in place the roof's top rafters (30 meters high). Keeping with tradition, this is cause for celebration. Work is halted, a ceremonial wreath is hung at the apex of the edifice, champagne is uncorked, with all concerned on hand. A special concert will also be featured.
